JIMBLEBAR IRON ore
A challenging project with a unique solution
The Jimblebar mine is an iron ore mine located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 41 kilometres east of Newman. The mine is fully owned and operated by BHP Billiton, and is one of seven iron ore mines the company operates in the Pilbara.
Work under this scope will be conducted at the Company’s Jimblebar Mining Operation located near the town of Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Site works will be carried out within active mining areas of the Company’s operation. Refer to Figure 3.1 below for work locations that are applicable to this Scope.
